Michelle Avery
Born and raised in Colorado, my family homesteaded in
Steamboat Springs in 1906. I am a 4th generation Steamboat native. I have:
- Ski raced on a scholarship through college and represented the State of Colorado as a International Ski Ambassador
- Hosted a Ski Television program for 2 years in Steamboat called "More Than Just a Ski Town"
- Worked as a Professional Ski Model for Head Skis, Volant, Smith and, Spyder Ski Wear
- Worked in a variety of facets of the Ski Industry for many years.
I started in Real Estate in 1992 and have been the Top Producer
/ # 1 gross producing agent for
Coldwell Banker from 1994 through 2007.
I have a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation,
which only 5% of the Realtors in the
country hold, and a GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute).
I also served as a Director of the Steamboat Springs Board of
Realtors for 4 years.
For 3 years, I was a Steamboat Ambassador.
I have continuously been awarded President's Elite and Chairman's
Circle awards from Coldwell Banker National, as well as ranking in the Top 50 Realtors for Coldwell Banker in Colorado.
I have extensive experience in all facets of the real estate business
from commercial to residential,
including expertise in 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges.
